However I can help! On most of my sites I have a list of “dealers” who buy and sell equipment.

My advice is to contact 3 of the nearest dealers with a stock list of your equipment and ask them for a guide price on what they would be willing to pay. You must be very honest with your description as there is little chance of them giving you the price they quoted if the equipment is not as described.

How Much Is My Equipment Worth?

As with anything the price some one is willing to pay for your equipment depends on how much they want it!

As a guide take a look at what is on my site. If its quite far down the list it may not have sold for quite a white, so it's too expensive. Take an average and put your self in the middle of the range. This allows you to reduce the price you charge without giving it away.

A dealer will typically offer you 25% - 50% of what they think it's worth. This may sound mean however when they sell your equipment they must make a profit (this has to pay for removing the goods from your place, cleaning and testing your equipment, storing it until sold, paying for any work under warranty after they have sold it and hopefully gain something to live off.)

So you may be better of selling your stuff on my site.
